The Tier List page is intentionally situational. It explains ranking lenses — early game stability, boss burst, endless sustain — instead of declaring permanent S-tier heroes. Use it alongside the Build Planner tool before queueing.

Sample Builds walks through complete comps by archetype with placement notes and pivot options. Lovers Synergy focuses on paired hero strategies — when to commit, when to break pairing for a stronger solo carry, and how relics interact with bond bonuses.

When a build fails, cross-check relic choices and pivot timing before abandoning the archetype entirely. Most failed runs are fixable with one role swap or relic theme shift.

Common Build Mistakes

Spreading stats across three unrelated roles is the most common beginner error. Guildrun rewards two-role cores with optional flex slots. If your frontline, backline, and utility heroes each want different relic themes, shop offers will feel useless — commit to two themes by wave three.

Delaying lovers pairing past mid-run wastes bond uptime. You do not need perfect lovers on wave one, but identify two complementary heroes by wave two or accept a solo-carry plan intentionally. The lovers synergy page explains when breaking pairing is correct.

Copying sample builds without reading pivot notes causes late-run collapses. Every sample build lists flex points — relic families that swap roles. Match those notes to your actual shop, not the screenshot in the guide.
